Congratulations to Two Jaguar Drivers

Dan Shaw and Brett Taylor passed their test on 19th December with IAM examiner Mike Addis.

Brett Taylor 53, has owned and maintained his 1961 Jaguar Mk 2, 3.8 for 11 years. He decided to join the I A M to develop his skill and confidence as he is becoming increasingly concerned about the driving standards of his fellow motorist and how they relate to his classic car.  He found it a most rewarding experience and has discovered a new ‘ hidden’ depth to his MK 2 and a whole new level of satisfaction from driving it on today’s congested roads.

Dan Shaw 24, was given his 2014 Jaguar XJ L new as a company car when his employer Sanctus Ltd appointed him chauffeur to their chief executive. His expectations in entering for the advanced driving test were merely to improve his abilities in handling a large luxury motorcar. As he progressed through the aspects of  ‘How to be a better driver’  Dan revealed to himself the many different facets and pleasures of driving a modern complex high performance car which will stay with him for the rest of his life.

Their Observer was Angus Watson.
