Chorley Fire Station

Open to new Associates only, this Induction Evening will be held at 7.30pm at Chorley Fire Station, West Way, Chorley PR7 6DH.
The first of three classroom sessions, this session provides your introduction to IPSGA, the system of car control, as well as providing an opportunity to get to know your fellow Associates on the course and the Observers who will be coaching you over the next 10 weeks. Held in Chorley Fire Station’s Community Room, the session provides an opportunity learn about “system” before you put it into practice on your first observed run the following Sunday. You will also see it demonstrated in a drive provided by your Observer. As with all these sessions, there is plenty of interactive discussion and members of our Observer team will be on hand to answer questions and facilitate the session. If you are signed up to the course we strongly encourage you to attend, as missing this session will put you at a significant disadvantage when starting the observed sessions in your car.
