Many congratulations to CAM’s own Alan W who has requalified as a National Observer, just in time for the New Year and the start of our new course!
Alan is well known to CAM members and local advanced drivers alike, having been an active member of CAM for 17 years. He is currently our Associate Co-ordinator, a member of our Executive Committee and our Training Team.
For those who don’t know, everyone who coaches the advanced driving course is a volunteer who is required to train to IAM Roadsmart’s high standards (In addition, the National Observer qualification is recognised by the Institute of Motor Industry).
It’s not a case of once qualified, always qualified though, as Observers are required to requalify every five years.
Please join us in congratulating Alan in maintaining these high standards and requalifying for another five years!
