The North Wales Group was formed in 1977 covering all North Wales counties.

Welcome to the North Wales Group of Advanced Motorists. The North Wales Group was formed in 1977 to assist drivers to prepare for and take the Advanced Driving test. The group covers all 6 county council areas, so where ever you live, you are not far from one of our trained observers who can assist you in your preparation.

The IAM also has examiners covering the region therefore tests can be conducted close to where you live or work. Once enrolled in the Skill for Life advanced driving programme, you will undertake a number of sessions in your vehicle as you progress towards the standard required to take the test.

As a full member of the IAM you are encouraged to become more involved in the local group by joining the committee or becoming an observer. We also have several social events throughout the year and this is a good opportunity to meet like minded individuals.

Croeso i Grŵp Modurwyr Uwchraddol Gogledd Cymru. Cafodd Grŵp Gogledd Cymru ei ffurfio ym 1977 i helpu gyrwyr i baratoi ar gyfer y Prawf Gyrru Uwch. Mae’r grŵp yn gweithredu ar draws y chwe awdurdod lleol felly lle bynnag rydych chi’n byw mi fydd un o’n sylwedyddion cymwys gerllaw i’ch helpu i baratoi.

Mae gan Sefydliad y Modurwyr Uwchraddol arholwyr yn gweithio yn yr ardal hefyd felly mae’n bosib gwneud y prawf yn agos at eich cartref neu’ch gwaith. Ar ôl cofrestru ar y cynllun gyrru uwch Sgil am Oes byddwch yn gwneud sawl sesiwn gwahanol yn eich cerbyd gan weithio tuag at y safon angenrheidiol i wneud y prawf.

Fel aelod cyflawn o Sefydliad y Modurwyr Uwchraddol buasai’n dda pe gallech chi chwarae mwy o ran yn y grŵp lleol drwy ymuno â’r pwyllgor neu ddod yn sylwedydd. Mae gennym ni lawer o ddigwyddiadau cymdeithasol yn ystod y flwyddyn hefyd ac mae’r rhain yn gyfle gwych i gwrdd â phobl o’r un anian.
