Our Advanced Rider course will improve your ability to control the position and speed of the machine safely, systematically and smoothly. You use all relevant information to make comfortable progress unobtrusively. This skill requires a positive but courteous attitude and a high standard of riding competence. It is based upon your ability to concentrate, your use of your riding observation, anticipation and planning. These must be coordinated with good bike handling skills. This means that the bike will always be in the right place on the road, travelling at the right speed, with the correct gear engaged and you will always be able to stop safely within the distance that can be seen to be clear.
