Group Meeting – Our guest speakers are Matt & Yvonne returning for their second talk entitled “Banjo and Beyond”.
Matt & Yvonne last spoke to us at the June 2024 group meeting. They had met whilst serving in the Territorial Army, gave up their jobs to fund a dream, and used retirement money (and the sale of a motorbike) to fund a twelve month trip of a lifetime all around the USA - travelling in a motorhome, having the most amazing time.
On their return they got into public speaking and became self employed.
Banjo and Beyond is a musical presentation. Matt plays and sings, all the songs are well known, the kind you can sing along to. In addition, Matt tells a little about the origin of each instrument and Yvonne tells the history behind the songs.
Meet at Dobbies Sports & Social Club. Group meetings are open to all, please arrive by 7.45pm so that you have time to get a drink and take your seat.
