This event was extremely popular last year with some 36 attending the 3 separate HCNAD SpeedSkills events. So, in 2019 we will be returning at least once for this educational and competitive ‘hands on’ day with Mick Croome’s SpeedSkills team of highly experienced advanced police driving instructors at the former Bovingdon Airfield near Hemel Hempstead. After a welcome briefing you will learn and experience: - skid and vehicle stability control, high speed understeer and oversteer, how to manoeuvre around cones at speed (forward and reverse) and ‘J’ turns. Participants will split into groups of three; i.e. into four of the SpeedSkill cars
After a light lunch, the event will then finish with you participating in team building competitions using some of the newly acquired skills. See www.speedskills.net
The price for this event will be £189 per person and will be limited to 12 participants. To book your place(s) on this event please email our Events Manger Andy Knight by clicking here stating clearly how many places you would like. Once your place is reserved you will need to make a payment to HCNAD to secure your booking.
With interest from sufficient numbers, a second visit will be arranged and also later in 2019 we will organise a further ‘more advanced’ session.
