The North East Central Advanced Motorists (NECAM) is an independent charity affiliated to the Institute of Advanced Motorists (IAM). NECAM volunteers offer training for IAM recognised courses - Advanced Driver and the IAM Masters. Several monthly social events are also held for members, associates and friends.

NOTIFICATION - PLEASE READ BULLETIN

Please ignore the date attached to this notification - it has to be set as a date in advance for admin purposes only.

To all Members, Associates & Friends of NECAM Advanced Motorists:

  • Due to the current Covid 19 virus pandemic our monthly group meetings at the golf club have had to be suspended - however we are hopeful for them to resume in September. The Committee had decided that all meetings will be on Zoom until further notice. Coffee mornings and events in person are being arrange for outside venues. Links to Zoom sessions are advised by newsletter and email.

  • For information regarding training for Associates please contact David Land.
  • Newsletters are being sent out as usual, either by email or Royal Mail (if requested), and along with Facebook and our Website, we will keep everyone informed of progress. 
  • Your Committee will continue to review the situation and will keep everyone informed. We have not taken these decisions lightly and are sure you will understand that we have a duty of care towards ourselves and others in the present circumstances.  Feel free to contact us if you require clarification on any matter.
