Our social rides

Our Saturday morning social rides are for full members only. However, our observers may, if it's appropriate, take our associates separately to the same destination as the ride out group.

We value the social aspect of riding with fellow bikers on often unfamiliar roads, stopping at interesting cafes for a chat, a drink and maybe a meal. Full members have found that our rides help them to improve their riding skills even further. Some also train to be an observer and help others to improve their riding.

We let all our members know about planned events through emails, our WhatsApp group, the Calendar page on this website and our RAM riders Facebook group.

Many of our members share routes using MyRoute-app (MRA) so that they can be used in other members' navigation apps on a mobile phone and in GPS devices. If you don't already have MRA, you can get the free basic version of MRA Mobile at Google Play Store or the App Store or you can get the free basic version of MRA Routeplanner for Windows or iOS from MRA's website myrouteapp.com. If you are already a full member of RAM, register on MRA, search for RAM Routes Library and request an invitation to join us.
