Remembering Duncan Purt

Long term members of YAM will remember Duncan Purt who has sadly passed away after a long battle with a tumour in his head, which started behind his left eye and despite numerous operations he lost his fight. He was one of the earliest members of YAM and was the man responsible for getting me to join.

He was a qualified observer for a number of years, sat on the committee and was also a ride co-ordinator.

His funeral is at Pontefract Crematorium on Thursday 20th December at 1.00pm followed by a wake at the Chequers Inn, Ledston nr Castleford. Dress code is loud and bright shirts etc.
