IAM Lincolnshire return to observing
IAM Lincolnshire is delighted to return to in-car observing, following IAM RoadSmart guidelines, from 20 July.
16 drivers in Lincolnshire had already passed their Advanced Driver Course in 2020 before practical observation was postponed in March due to Covid-19.
With over 40 associates now opting to continue their courses, IAM Lincolnshire's returning observers joined an online meeting on Monday to discuss the restart, new guidelines and to recap key points of observing. All of the PPE required was sourced from Lincolnshire based suppliers and this had been delivered to observers prior to the first drives being carried out.
70% of observers were able to return at this time, which was well matched by 70% of associates along with all of the regions examiners.
