Boost your knowledge and awareness of types of distractions, with useful information, hints and tips on:
This module has been designed to help boost you knowledge and awareness of types of distractions, and provides tips on how to deal with them.
Driver distractions come in a multitude of different forms. Many of these are present inside your vehicle: passengers, pets, loud music, mobile phones, satnav directions, food... it's all too easy to become distracted from the task of driving. There are also a huge range of external things that could be classed as distractions, including unusual sights and situations, other road users behaving erratically, and the confusion caused by congestion. Driving in a proactive manner, carrying out early observations and having a system to ensure that you take in and process all the necessary information, is a great way to shut out distractions and to remain focused and able to deal with situations as they arise.
This module normally costs £5 for 20 minutes' learning, but is currently available free-of-charge as a special promotion. Click on the button below to register and download.Access modules
