Why should you take it?
So, you’ve passed your Advanced Test and become an IAM RoadSmart member. Our Members Riding Assessment is a chance to have your current skill level assessed, demonstrate your skills, and be added to our F1RST Register.
This voluntary check will help you to understand any further areas of improvement alongside gaining expert advice from an IAM RoadSmart Examiner.
Please note, the outcome of this assessment does not affect your IAM RoadSmart membership status.
What can you expect?
Conducted by one of our assessors, your assessment will follow the format and structure of an Advanced Test. You will benefit from a comprehensive report and personal feedback session at the end of the drive.
As mentioned, this assessment is an opportunity for you as an Advanced Rider to be added to our F1RST Register. So, if you demonstrate your skills to this standard, then we will award you this status.
In the unlikely event that your skills have dipped below the Advanced level, we’ll simply provide you with a personal report highlighting areas to improve on.
