At IAM RoadSmart, we have been supporting drivers and riders for over 60 years. Our mission is still just as important as it was back then, as we see more young people passing their driving test and beginning to experience the freedom of having their own car or bikes.

Techniques and road safety advice
Aliz Varga
Aliz, who grew up in Romania, loves to be on two wheels, “I love the freedom to explore the county of Hertfordshire or take weekend-long touring in the Alps. I love the adrenaline and excitement I get every time I get to ride my bike.
Aliz passed her test just over two years ago after being introduced to IAM Roadsmart through her partner. Aliz says she would recommend the IAM RoadSmart Advanced Rider course to anyone at any age.
Hugh Raynor
Hugh is a National Observer with the IAM RoadSmart Bristol group. The 26-year-old passed his test at 17 before moving on to take his advanced driving test in 2019. A year later, he took and completed his masters. Hugh says his achievements have even encouraged some friends of his to take the course.
