Posted on 03/02/20 |

IAM RoadSmart has appointed two new key account managers, Victoria Corbit and Daniel Zimber, to support the launch of some new and improved business products coming up soon in 2020.

Victoria joins from Hanwell Solutions where she spent more than eight years leading a team of internal account managers, serving a portfolio of key accounts.

Daniel joins from a successful stint with Select Car Leasing. Before this he worked in retail car sales with the Marshall Motor Group.

Victoria said: “I am really looking forward to 2020 with IAM RoadSmart; I think it’s going to be a very exciting year ahead for the commercial division of the business.

“We have some exciting new products launching soon and I am really looking forward to working with our existing and new customers. It feels like a fantastic time to join this thriving team.

Daniel said: “I am excited to join IAM RoadSmart at this key time in its growth. With the new products to come we will be in a position to provide the best facilities to make the UK roads and businesses a safer place.

“I look forward to the future and working with companies across the country to deliver our goals.”

Tony Greenidge, business development director at IAM RoadSmart, said: “As the UK’s leading road safety charity, our primary role is to make a positive impact on road safety. We were looking for people who demonstrated a genuine desire to help us achieve this and these appointments support our plans for growth.

“Victoria and Daniel bring with them the right mix of experience, desire and attitude and both have a clear understanding of our values. I am really pleased to welcome them both to the business and look forward to a productive year.”

IAM RoadSmart has a mission to make better drivers and riders in order to improve road safety, inspire confidence and make driving and riding enjoyable. It does this through a range of courses for all road users, from online assessments through to the advanced driving and riding tests. IAM RoadSmart is the trading name of all businesses operated by the UK’s largest road safety charity, the Institute of Advanced Motorists (IAM) and was formed in April 2016 combining the IAM, IAM Drive & Survive, PDS and IAM Driver Retraining Academy. The organisation has 92,000 members and campaigns on road safety on their behalf. At any one time there are over 7,000 drivers and riders actively engaged with IAM RoadSmart’s courses, from members of the public to company drivers, while our Driver Retraining Academy has helped 2,500 drivers to shorten their bans through education and support programmes.
