Advanced Driver - Save 10%!
If you're looking to gain additional on-road knowledge and skills, above and beyond what’s it taught when you learnt to drive, our Advanced Driver course is for you! The course develops your driving skills, get more enjoyment out of driving, grow friendships, and create memorable experiences whilst on the roads.
You will be paired with one of our highly skilled observers to work together to gain better control of your vehicle, skilful driving, fuel efficiency, enhanced observation, and improved planning.
Included in the course fee is membership with your local group where you can meet likeminded drivers, around 6-12 sessions with an Observer, the advanced test, and one year’s Associate membership with IAM RoadSmart.

Mature Driver Review
“Driving is very important to me as it represents freedom and independence”
Our Mature Driver Review is a relaxed, 1-hour session with an IAM RoadSmart expert. Together, you’ll drive in your own vehicle on roads familiar to you, and at the end of the session will receive guidance on how to continue driving safely for years to come.
Having your driving reviewed will increase your confidence and ensure you feel all journeys are safe for you and any passengers. This session is also perfect for those 65+ or over potentially looking for a second opinion before renewing their driving license with the DVLA at 70.
What will you get out of this course? A trusted second opinion on your driving, a boost to your skills and confidence, reassurance for yourself and others!
Member by Exemption
Do you, or have you driven professionally in the forces, or hold an advanced driving qualification? You may qualify for our membership without having to complete our Advanced Driver course – otherwise known as becoming a Member by Exemption.
